## Orders
All orders are subject to:

* payment authorisation;

* quality control.
An automatic order confirmation confirms that we have received your order. It does not necessarily constitute final acceptance of the order.

If payment has already been received for an order that we subsequently cancel, the relevant amount will be refunded.
## Acceptance of Your Order
A binding sales contract is formed when CHRISTIAN RODIN accepts the order and dispatches the goods, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
We may contact customers by email or telephone regarding order verification, payment, product availability or delivery.
## Dispatch & Delivery
Orders may be shipped as one complete shipment or divided into separate shipments.
Partial shipments may occur where products are stored, prepared or dispatched from different locations.
Where CHRISTIAN RODIN divides an order into separate shipments for operational reasons, the customer will not be charged additional shipping fees solely because the order has been divided.
For each product, the estimated processing or dispatch time may be indicated on the product page.
Unless otherwise indicated:
**In-stock products:** normally dispatch within approximately 5 working days.
**Special Order or Made-to-Order products:** may require up to approximately 20 working days before dispatch.
Delivery estimates are indicative and are not guaranteed delivery dates unless expressly agreed.
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
CHRISTIAN RODIN cannot be held responsible for delivery problems caused solely by incorrect or incomplete address information supplied by the customer.
## Delivery Attempts & Undeliverable Orders
Customers are responsible for being reasonably available to receive their order or for arranging collection when requested by the carrier.
Where an order is returned to CHRISTIAN RODIN because:
* delivery was repeatedly refused;
* the parcel was not collected;
* the customer provided an incorrect address; or
* delivery could not be completed due to circumstances attributable to the customer,
we reserve the right, where permitted by law, to deduct reasonable direct shipping, handling and return costs actually incurred.
Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
## Risk & Insurance
Where applicable, CHRISTIAN RODIN bears the risk of loss or damage to purchased goods while they are in transit until they are delivered to you or to a person designated by you to receive them.
After successful delivery, responsibility for the goods passes to the customer, subject to applicable consumer-protection law.
## Right of Withdrawal
Consumers purchasing online within the European Union generally have the right to withdraw from an eligible purchase within **14 days from the date on which they or a person designated by them receives the goods**, subject to applicable legal exceptions.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must clearly notify CHRISTIAN RODIN within the applicable withdrawal period.
Customers may contact Customer Service to obtain return instructions and, where applicable, a Return Authorization Number.
Failure to request an internal return number does not remove statutory rights where mandatory law provides otherwise.
## Returns
Where a product is eligible for return, it must be returned:
* unused and unworn, except for handling reasonably necessary to inspect the product;
* undamaged;
* complete;
* with all identification tags and security seals still attached where applicable;
* with its original jewellery box or pouch;
* with any authenticity cards, certificates or documentation supplied;
* with any accessories supplied with the product; and
* appropriately packaged for transport.
Customers should take reasonable care of products while they are in their possession.
Where permitted by law, the customer may be responsible for any reduction in the value of a product caused by handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functionality.
Unless the product is faulty, incorrect or otherwise non-conforming, the customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the product where this has been communicated before purchase.
## Jewellery Packaging
Jewellery packaging supplied with a product is considered part of the product.
Where applicable, jewellery must be returned with:
* its original box;
* protective pouch;
* authenticity card;
* certificate;
* dust bag; and
* any other supplied packaging.
Packaging should be returned undamaged and should itself be protected by suitable external shipping packaging.
## Security Seals
Certain CHRISTIAN RODIN jewellery may be supplied with a single-use security or identification seal.
Customers should inspect and try on the product without unnecessarily removing the seal.
Removal of a security seal may affect return eligibility where permitted by applicable law, particularly where the seal is used to establish that a product has not been worn or used.
This provision does not affect statutory rights relating to faulty, damaged or non-conforming products.
## Earrings & Hygiene
Because earrings may come into direct contact with pierced areas of the body, certain earrings may be supplied in sealed hygiene packaging.
Where an earring is legitimately subject to the hygiene exception provided by applicable consumer law, the right of withdrawal may cease once the sealed hygiene packaging has been opened.
This restriction applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
It does not affect the customer's rights where earrings are faulty, damaged, incorrect or otherwise not in conformity with the order.
## Made-to-Order & Personalised Products
Products manufactured according to the customer's individual specifications or clearly personalised may not be eligible for the statutory right of withdrawal where the applicable legal exception applies.
This may include:
* personalised engraving;
* personalised initials;
* names;
* dates;
* custom stone combinations;
* special measurements;
* customised sizing outside standard available sizes;
* commissioned pieces; or
* jewellery individually manufactured for a specific customer.
Where a product is Made to Order or personalised, this will normally be stated on the relevant product page or during the ordering process.
Once production has commenced, personalised or Made-to-Order products may not be cancelled where permitted by law.
## Exchanges
Where CHRISTIAN RODIN offers exchanges, these are subject to product availability.
Products submitted for exchange must meet the same condition requirements applicable to returns.
Where an exchange is requested solely because the customer wishes to select another standard size or variation, shipping costs may apply.
Where the requested replacement is unavailable, the customer will be informed of the available alternatives.
## Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods
Customers should inspect their order promptly upon receipt.
If an item arrives:
* damaged;
* defective;
* incorrect; or
* materially different from what was ordered,
please contact CHRISTIAN RODIN Customer Service as soon as reasonably possible.
Photographs or other information may be requested to help us assess the issue.
Normal wear and tear, accidental damage, improper storage, misuse, exposure to unsuitable chemicals or failure to follow jewellery-care instructions do not normally constitute manufacturing defects.
Nothing in these Terms limits statutory rights available to customers under applicable consumer law.
Where applicable under EU consumer law, goods benefit from the statutory legal guarantee for products that are defective or do not conform to the sales contract.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, remedies may include repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.
## Refunds
Once CHRISTIAN RODIN receives a returned product, the item will be inspected.
If the return is accepted, we will notify the customer.
Where a refund is due, it will normally be issued using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless otherwise agreed.
For valid statutory withdrawals, refunds will be processed in accordance with applicable consumer law.
CHRISTIAN RODIN may, where permitted by law, withhold reimbursement until:
* the returned goods have been received; or
* the customer has provided adequate evidence that the goods have been returned.
Where the customer selected a more expensive delivery service than our standard delivery method, additional delivery charges may not be refundable where permitted by law.
## Promotional, Discounted & Sale Products

## Final Sale

* cleaning products;
* salt water;
* excessive moisture; and
* abrasive surfaces.
Plating may naturally change or fade over time depending on wear, skin chemistry, environmental exposure and product care.
Normal changes caused by wear and use do not necessarily constitute manufacturing defects.
## Third-Party Websites
The CHRISTIAN RODIN website may contain hyperlinks to websites operated by third parties.
CHRISTIAN RODIN does not control such websites and is not responsible for their:

* availability;
* accuracy;
